Introducing Edu
In Valwo, I learned to care, respect and fight for the well-being and the quality of life for the animals. Before this, I only saw tigers, bears and lions on TV. But working at Valwo allowed me to work closely with them day after day. I cared for them and in return the taught me about their world in the animal kingdom. I am sure that I animals at Scooby will also teach me and I will get great pleasure from caring for them.
I have been a part of the Scooby family since December 2007 and in that time I have gotten to know many of the Scooby residents. Like, our oldest and dearest “Triston” and one of the youngest pups “Yukon”. My tasks at the shelter were not as easy as one would think with me having over 5 years experience. Understanding the dog’s behaviours and them understanding mine, took some time to be established. However, those days are gone now and I my responsibilities at the shelter have grown. I try to always bring new ideas on how to better improve the shelter and life for the animals here.
I know that all of this is not possible without your help. I look forward to getting to know more and more volunteers that come to Scooby and together we can continued working for Scooby aims, the well being and quality of life for all the animals.

Hello,
my name is Edu and I am worker at Scooby. I can’t remember when my passion
for animals first started or the first time I even heard of Scooby. Many of
you may have heard of Valwo Natural Park in Vallodolid. This is where I
first encountered animal welfare.
