Messi is a dog that actually has been too long in the Scooby shelter.  It has been 3 years since she came here.  She came to us with a very bad history; she lived together with another dog.  The dogs were all locked on a 1 meter chain, connected with a pin in the ground, without any protection against rain, cold, and sun. Summer and winter, always in the open air. Of course there is no dog that deserves that kind of treatment! Now she is living in the background among the other dogs in the paddock, she is kind of shy towards strangers, but once she gets to know you, she is very happy and enthusiastic when she sees you!  She is so happy when she receives a good hug, she is so sweet!

Who could give this sweetheart a chance for a happy life, who could offer her love, attention, friendship and her own bed for the rest of her life? She really deserves it so much. We think she is about 4-5 years old, so hopefully you could enjoy her for a long time. She is a very quiet dog, grey with brown and white and can get along very well with other dogs, cats and children. Perhaps you know friends and/or relatives who could offer this sweet girl a chance in a loving home.
