These little beings and their colleagues the Vietnamese, kept on growing in the largest meadow of the shelter. And time does not pass by in vain for anyone, either for them. They have grown and one of their preferred hobbies is to make holes in the meadow and therefore they are spoiling all the green grass which is meant for the donkeys’ pasture. So we decided to build a new home for them where they can feel comfortable, take shelter and keep on playing making holes. Edu put shoulders to the wheel! and in a week's time he built their new home.
But the work did not end there, once the new home was finished we had to transfer them inside the new and closed premises and that was when the party started! We were ready and convinced that we would run faster than them and that it would be an easy task and, indeed, with the first pig it was easy duty, with the second one, too but with the third one we were out of the game. So we decided to trap them in a corner against the fences and little by little push them to one side. That way we managed to introduce the common pigs into the new premises, but their colleagues the Vietnamese were not ready to make it an easy job and, after a long time running after them, Ghani came to help us but even like that we were three versus five. We had to stop and have a rest as we were easily breathless. Then we decided to use another tactic. We went on taking them one by one but even like this they would not walk so that we had to hold them tight by the rear legs and carry them as if we were carrying a wheelbarrow. They were a little bit angry and showed they anger by saying some words. But their bad mood swung when they saw they were kept in a plot only for their use. Now they are really happy as they have become the kings of the place.
