Dear Scooby friend,

This is an update about a difference of opinion of what beauty is about on one hand and an the other hand about the little prince well known by all of us for he’s the one getting told the famous sentence by the fox: “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."

Our dear Scooby veteran Fozzie is one of these not so handsome dogs but after staying at Scooby for more than 5 years and a very long time on our adoption page, always overlooked, a new German cooperating organization for Scooby mix dogs, completely surprisingly reserved him for their first transport. And so he finally left our shelter. Two women from Viva la Hund in Germany welcomed the 7 dogs at GINN after the arrival of the transport in Holland in a very warm way and Fozzie’s also present foster mum was absolutely fond of him from the very first moment. It was very touching to see this sweet tempered boy outside Scooby for we nearly had given up hope he will ever find a place where he is welcomed as a beloved pet.

And if how to make up for his not so obvious beauty he compensated it with being a modest, loving and cute dog right from the start. Straight after putting him on their adoption page, there was a request from a woman who asked for an easy to handle dog.  So after the pre-check and meeting each other it was quite clear, it’s going to be him: Fozzie! And there he is now and finally he can show what has been hidden all through the years until humans came who saw them though: His inner values which make him a perfect pet and friend. So don’t overlook these dogs in the future no more, maybe your best friend is hiding just behind one of these genetically not so privileged dogs and will make you very happy and wise in the end!
