First of all good news from Sevilla and faster as expected. The authorities decided that Antonio, the owner of the so called Sevilla dogs (please check our earlier updates) needs to cooperate with the rescue of the remaining dogs. So now we are busy preparing ourselves for more trips to the south of Spain to collect more dogs and bring them to our shelter. And after that, we will add them to our adoption page as soon as they are declared healthy and neutered, and hopefully you will be there, dear reader, to adopt them. Now a few words to inform you that the little female dog we took from Portugal has been examined by our friends at vet clinic Clínica Mediterráneo and the result is not a uterine prolapse but a tumour of sexual transmission easily curable by means of chemotherapy and, shortly after, Ricardo called me to say that in addition and on top of all, she’s got a pyometra (an infected uterus) and that it should be necessary to operate it as a matter of urgency and as in addition we took her together with a male that we supposed that he was his son, probably, if they had have sexual relations, the male also will be affected and also may be in need of chemotherapy.
