In the last weeks 80 dogs have left the shelter towards different countries in Europe, in two trips done by Maria Jose and Maria. Everything went perfect, and instead of enjoying of a more empty shelter, therefore with less work to do, we went to the Valladolid pound to rescue dogs whom, otherwise, would have been euthanized in a short while. We rescued 5 Galgos, a long haired Galgo, and other 20 dogs of different races, among others 6 Podencos. They are more or less six months old, and the poor creatures are terrified, something which unfortunately happens with most of the hunting dogs that we rescue. What surprised us most was that we found, among them, one of our dogs, which had been adopted in June. No need to tell you the deep anger we felt, and that Ma Jose has already contacted the woman who adopted him to tell her all kinds of things, except “Hi pretty one”. We have contacted our lawyer to see if we can do anything, since this woman signed a contract where it is specifically prohibited to do this. See you soon, Fermín
