Dear friends,
Cases like mentioned below are not unique at all, in fact it happens so often that it would take us too much time to report everything to you. We just have to spend too much time on rescuing dogs, that we hardly have time to expose about it. I hope you understand, you can easily conclude that when there is not a lot of news on our page, we are in the middle of our most busy periods of the year. Speaking of a paradox.
This time I want to show you some of the latest arrivals to the shelter. The first Galgo you can see, and that I’m sure you won’t recognize, is the Galgo from Sevilla, who was extremely thin. He has recovered wonderfully, and is even changing his coat. We had to cut part of his tail, because you could see the bone.
The second one is a Galga we found with her back leg completely destroyed, due to a car accident. We had no choice but to amputate it because it couldn’t be cured, due to the multiple fractures. By the way, she has recovered very well, and is really adorable.
The third and fourth were brought in by a galguero who was received by Maria. He dared to comment that the dogs had everything, microchip, vaccines, everything, to which Maria replied that they had everything except food, which, on the other hand, is obvious. They are absolutely terrified and we are sure that he hit them, for when someone lift his hand to them, they shrink as if they were waiting for the beating.
See you soon,
Fermín |
