Latest transport of Scooby-dogs for France, 29 september 2007
We had 9 dogs last time on the Scooby transport, as much as never before, because people in France begin to know in a larger scale about the horrors committed on those sweet dogs! Only two of them went in foster care, the others were adopted all over France, in the Dordogne (department 24, you see a nice photo of Evita with her young adoptant(s) on the transport to their home), in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques (64), in the Marne (51), in the Gironde (33) as for Drop/Nerow and in the Doubs (25). (Our foster families are in the Nièvre (Aline Colombe, 58), the Gironde (Ingrid Domecq, 33) and in the Aisne (Sylvie Mordret, 02).)
All families seem very happy with their new-adopted galgo, the adoptant of Evita writes: "...Evita adapts very well and the cat, after being a bit mistrustful in the beginning, begins to accept a new guest in her house! All seems to go on smoothly, most important and time will do the rest!..." And Mrs C. (Nerow/Drop) tells: "We are very happy with Nerow, he is such a charming dog!"
And a family who adopted Ado on an earlier transport is so pleased by their galgo, that they wish to adopt now another dog as a friend and mate for their Ado! Ado seems extremely nice with children and also Mr J. (photo Ado sleeping with adoptant) seems to be under the charm of this beautiful galgo!
We are very grateful to Scooby, the adoptants and our foster-families for all the help we find by them! We hope to rescue yet many more of the galgos of the Scooby refuge, but we hope more than this that the ill-treat of the galgos will find an end as soon as possible! Because it is so shameful for Spain that all Europe should be implicated in rescuing their beautiful poor dogs!
