This weekend some of the Scooby members were guests on the annually reunion of Greyhounds in Nood in the Netherlands. And although it was really bad weather, with lots and lots of rain and storm, it was very nice for us to recognize a lot of the dogs that once were rescued in our shelter, and now happily ever after with their adoption family.

Three special dogs that will never be forgotten and were present, are our friend Nalda, the timid Mastin who lived for years in our shelter and was always the first dog to hear and see when you entered the shelter. Now she lost some weight and fear, you can see her on the photo below.

The other two, more recently adopted, are our love couple Laura and Pequeñin. You will remember her from the adoption page, their adoption is so fresh that they still appear on our page, marked as adopted. You can see on the photos that they look very well, and are still in love with each other. We are so happy to see that their new family was willing to welcome them both, so that we didn’t have to separate them.

A special thanks goes out to Johan and Jacinta, Tessa and xxx and Lucy and Laszlo. They proposed to us to sell self-made creations on all kinds of events as a fund-raiser for Scooby. For this special occasion they also sold some of the official Scooby merchandise like T-shirts, collars and calendars. And although a lot of their merchandise became wet, they were able to sell some of during the few dry periods in-between the rain showers.
